Teacher arrested for defiling 8-year-old pupil

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Yobe State Command, has arrested 46-year-old primary school teacher, Muhammad Bashir, for allegedly defiling his 8-year-old pupil in Potiskum town, Yobe state. 

The Commandant, NSCDC, Gidado Mahmud Fari, told Daily trust that the arrest was made after the victim’s father reported to the command that the teacher had taken the minor to his house and defiled her.

He said the girl said during investigation that the teacher used his fingers on her. 

“They (the teacher and accomplice) confessed to have taken her to the teacher’s house after school, but denied raping her. But, we will arraign them to court after investigation,” he said. 
He Bashir is a primary school teacher in Potiskum while his accomplice, Muhammad Baba Fi is from House No. 24, Daniski Street, Potiskum.
